SECURITY
Safety and security is Davenport's number one priority for its students. Our residence halls are wired for key card access. The University also provides public safety officers who are on duty 24 hours every day, patrolling the parking lots, residence halls, and all other campus facilities. Escorts are also available during evening hours. Our officers are in uniform and carry a cellular phone, pager, and radio, making them easily accessible to the campus community.
FLOOR PLANS & COSTS
There is a $150.00 fee due with your housing application. In addition, there is a $150.00 refundable security deposit due with the Housing Agreement. Housing agreements are for one academic school year. Prior to moving in, the semester must be paid for in full.
Single = $3,000 per semester (5 beds) This is a unit in which the resident has his/ her own living space and bedroom.
Double = $2,500 per semester (22 beds) This is a unit in which the resident shares living space with one other resident but has his/her own bedroom.
Quad = $2,100 per semester (48 beds) This is a unit in which the resident shares living space with three other residents but has his/her own bedroom.

STAFFING
The residence halls will be staffed with professional staff and student workers 24 hours a day. Our staff is here to help students make the adjustment from home life to campus life. The residence life staff works closely with Campus Safety, Career and Academic Advising, and the Student Life Office as a means to extend the educational and social experience beyond the classroom.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a full-time Davenport student
- Must stay the entire academic year (2 semesters, not including summer)
- Alcohol and smoke free
- Must abide by the DU Housing Handbook and Agreement, Student Code of Conduct
- No pets allowed (except fish)
