Community Service

Office of Service and Community Outreach

What are we?
The Center for Service and Community Outreach was created in October 2002, and it is Davenport University's center in Grand Rapids for Community Service. Our hope is to become a center of cooperation between Davenport and the community. Our purpose is to provide students, faculty, and staff of Davenport University with resources to area community organizations. Community Service has been a fundamental philosophy throughout the history of Davenport University. This belief is echoed in the motto, "Make a Contribution" as well as the mission statement which reflects the present and the strategic plan for the future. Service is incorporated in the classroom, encouraged independently, and recognized by the University.

Where are we?
The Center for Service and Community Outreach is located at the W.A. Lettinga Campus at 6191 Kraft Avenue, S.E., Grand Rapids, MI 49512.
