Welcome to the Career and Education Transfer Seminar, INTD100S. This seminar is required for all new transfer students and currently attending Davenport University students who have converted to the new curriculum introduced in Fall 2003. It is a brief, no-credit, free seminar that provides you with information that will make your educational life at Davenport easier. Please take a few moments to review the information below so that you may complete INTD100S in the following order:

The Power Point slide show has been developed so that you may read through the information required at your own pace. As you read through the material, the slide presentation will refer to other documents that can be referenced.
The Sample Program Guide offers an example of the type of program guide you will follow to complete your Davenport degree. You will receive the guide to your chosen program from your advisor.
Portfolio Artifacts identifies all of the courses that contain a portfolio artifact and indicates what type of assignment the artifact requires.
The Research Paper Process contains a review of the important elements to keep in mind when completing a research paper.
The APA Style Document offers information regarding the American Psychological Association's format, two web sites where additional material may be found, and some brief examples of how to use APA.
This seminar may be completed in as little as 30 minutes, and you may return to this seminar as needed for clarification. Should you have any questions, please contact your academic dean.
