Welcome to Davenport University's Campus Safety section. I am glad you stopped by. This section represents an effort to provide faculty, staff, and students with information on crime prevention and safety issues. I encourage you to explore these pages and all that they have to offer.
There are numerous issues that confront our society, our communities, and at time our personal lives. I hope to provide assistance in the form of information, programs, resources and trained personnel. This information is offered as a part of the continual commitment to provide a safe learning environment and a community of informed members.
Although we have been fortunate in not experiencing a significant amount of crime, it would be dishonest to state that such incidents have not occurred. In order to prevent serious crime, all members within our communities must work together to provide a safe learning environment and be responsible to administer crime prevention measures to ensure that they are protected as much as possible.
Please remember that true safety can only be achieved through the efforts and cooperation of all students, faculty and staff who accept responsibility for their own security and the security of others. This site is part of an on-going effort to ensure that this collective endeavor is effective.
